Top 5 of investing ideas and trends in 2022
We have gone through so much during the entire year with all these covid outbreaks. Lots of small businesses have been shut down and companies were bankrupted during the lockdown.
These are tough times and we should remain hopeful and move on.
In this article, I am going to share five of the most profitable investing trends thought and hopefully you can benefit from these and help out your family by growing your wealth.
- Crypto Assets and currency.
There will be many forms of crypto assets. NFT is one of the tradable crypto assets. In the future of the meta-universe, NFT represents your image and is unique in its mathematical nature. All transactions on ETH are executed directly through smart contracts.
Bitcoin price may have temporally setback but it does not mean the end of BITCOIN. Crypto assets are attractive alternative assets to invest in. Buy the dip and sell the top would be my advice.
2. Brokerage and Bank related stocks.
Fed is likely to raise interest rates in 2022 to offset the impact of inflation. Historically speaking raising interest rates would be the best method to confront hyperinflation. Ex Fed Chairman Powell started to raise interest rates to fight against the 10% inflation rate in the US during the ’70s. Up till now, the US inflation rate has climbed all the way to 6.8%,e highest inflation number in the US for 30 years!
When raising the interest rates, investing in brokerage and bank-related stocks can be profitable since these banks make the return of interest rates and they have an enormous amount of cash holding at hands. During the QE period, holding cash can make no return even negative since the asset prices are up quickly but during the stringent period, holding cash reserve and enjoy higher interest rates make good returns.
3. GREEN energy stocks
Our planet is now suffering environmental damage and it is now endangered because of toxic air pollution and wastes. Green energy stocks will be in my top picks when considering the higher commodity prices and more advanced technology applied in the car industry. With the success of TESLA, other new energy company stock prices may go up even higher.
4. Upcoming 2022~2023 financial crisis
A crisis does not always mean a bad thing. For an intelligent investor, a crisis means a good bargain to buy high-quality company shares at very cheap prices. Though it may sound easy it will be difficult to time the trade since nobody knows when will the crisis hit our economic system. In my next article, I am going to share some of my thoughts regarding the financial crisis.
5. Utility and consumer-staple stocks.
During bad times we still consume utility like electricity, gas, water and etc. Investing in these shares could be both safe and profitable while the economy is having a setback and recession. DPZ domino pizza stock prices have gone up nearly 20000%, the stock price had gone up from 3dollar all the way to 560 dollars now. The investing rationale behind is simple, despite the economic performance, we all eat pizza anyways.
